Problem:
termkey treats ESC followed by a response (DCS/OSC/APC) as ALT + the
response, so the ESC is dropped. E.g. a slow reply to a remote UI's
UIEnter queries can land after a typed `<Esc>`, which then never leaves
Insert-mode.
Solution:
Emit the ESC as `<Esc>`, like for repeat/release events.
