From 20d4bff0e29fe49cf6d2040a2eb12d12cea5599d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Kir Kolyshkin Date: Thu, 8 Oct 2026 10:55:30 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] tests/int: fix "timens offsets with no timens" test The test uses ".linux.namespace" (rather than ".linux.namespaces") in its jq expression, which results in a jq error. As update_config does not check jq exit code, config.json ends up being empty, and so the subsequent runc run fails because of that, not because of what the test is supposed to check. Fix the jq expression, so that runc now fails with: time namespace offsets specified, but time namespace isn't enabled in the config Fixes: aa5f4c11 ("tests: add several timens tests") Signed-off-by: Kir Kolyshkin --- tests/integration/timens.bats | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/tests/integration/timens.bats b/tests/integration/timens.bats index 4184950e2..7ea5bd7bf 100644 --- a/tests/integration/timens.bats +++ b/tests/integration/timens.bats @@ -14,7 +14,7 @@ function teardown() { requires timens update_config '.process.args = ["cat", "/proc/self/timens_offsets"]' - update_config '.linux.namespaces = .linux.namespace | map(select(.type != "time"))' + update_config '.linux.namespaces |= map(select(.type != "time"))' update_config '.linux.timeOffsets = { "monotonic": { "secs": 7881, "nanosecs": 2718281 }, "boottime": { "secs": 1337, "nanosecs": 3141519 }
