Teknium 2cd0ec8686 Merge origin/main into feat/unified-gateway-runtime ...

215 commits from main (c70332f888). One textual conflict: the generated
apps/shared/src/gateway-contract.generated.ts, regenerated with scripts/gen_gateway_contracts.py
rather than hand-merged. Brings main's fix for the dated shared-metrics install-receipt test
(783637e370).
