- Requires FFmpeg and ffprobe on PATH (apt install ffmpeg / brew install ffmpeg / winget install Gyan.FFmpeg).
|
|
- lk_transcribe_captions is optional and needs 'pip install faster-whisper' plus a model already on disk.
|
|
- The visual editor has one main video track plus any number of tracks for text, shapes, video overlays, audio and scenes; these items sit at fixed times and do not move when the main clips are cut (bundle them in a scene to move them together).
|
|
- Licence is PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 (source-available): free for non-commercial use, commercial use needs a separate licence from Lokyy.de.
|
|
- The editor preview needs H.264 or VP8 playback in the app's browser engine; editing and export work without it.
